Aftermath...
Two weeks have passed since the tragic events in the United States of America. Whilst the President of America is exhaustively attempting to build a coalition to combat the scourge of terrorism, Muslim by whosever’s design have invariably become a target for vengeance.
A
recent happening was in the tranquil farming district of Ficksburg. Though
minimal damage was caused to the masjid, it sure is a manifestation of the
diet fed to the people. We condemn such acts that besides violating the
rights of South Africans, it sow the seeds for tension in our country. We
urge the authorities to investigate the matter with the intensity and
urgency it deserves.
In the face of such atrocities and difficulties, Muslims are implored to exercise restraint and bear them with courage and fortitude. Furthermore:

Recognise
and identify what vice and evil is. This is the first step in the process
of abstention.
Repent
excessively.
When
making du’â, include the entire Ummah in your supplications.
Have firm faith that Allah’s assistance is at hand. It is inconceivable that he will abandon His believers.
