THE LARGEST REFUGEE
GROUP IN THE WORLD

Afghanistan is the land of ruins, broken bridges, closed canals, empty roads, and cold chimneys. With no food, or friend, their solemn cries echo through the deep ravines of Afghanistan..., cries that beckon the Muslim Ummah to respond with compassion and kindness. Homeless and helpless their wrinkled faces reflect contours of pain and sorrow. Armed only with faith in Allâh they patiently bear unimaginable poverty and destitution.

Plagued by years of drought, civil war, and the potential outbreak of a global offensive, Afghanistan is on a brink of a human catastrophe. The number of Afghanis in need of food and shelter in Afghanistan and bordering countries has risen from 5.5 million to 7.5 million. There are an estimated 3.5 million Afghani refugees already living in Iran and Pakistan and at least a million more displaced inside Afghanistan. Afghanis in Pakistan and Iran are the largest refugee group in the world.

Are you going to respond to the pleas and cries of the millions of refugees? Are you prepared to extend a handsome loan unto the cause of Allâh? Are you prepared to purchase Jannah in lieu of a generous contribution towards alleviating the plight of the refugees?

The Jamiatul ‘Ulamâ has established a fund in aid of the refugees of Afghanistan. You may forward your contribution to your local Jamiat Office or deposit your contributions to either of the following:
